Located approximately 47km North West of Gisborne. Lot 2, Pine Farm 47 - 11.7ha planted 2000. The forest is located along SH 36 North West of Gisborne CIty. Access runs up off the highway up onto a leading ridge and leading spurs through to the back of the block. All silvicultural work has been completed and the stands are in very good health. Pine Farm 47 comprises 397.7ha of GF 19 Pinus radiata trees. Planting took place in 1998 (3.3ha) and 2000 with an initial stocking of 1000 stems per hectare. For sale is Lot 2, on freehold title of 11.7450ha within the greater forest area. Pruning and thinning has been done to maximise the recovery of clearwood at the time of harvest. Current stumpage estimates based on 12 Q MAF log survey and current harvesting costs $35,000/ha May 2011. Year of establishment 1998/2000.
