FORESTRY AND RECREATION, TE MOANA GORGE

This forestry block which was planted in 1996 has a diverse range of trees including 8000 Pines, 6000 Douglas Firs, 4000 Macrocarpas and 300 European and Japanese Larches. This property has an excellent camping area coupled with its own swimming hole from the Griffith Stream which is a tributary of the Te Moana River, excellent tramping mountain biking creating a recreational paradise with the possibility of the forestry being suitable for the ETS. Early inspection recommended.
