Shirlmar Station

Originally part of the 300,065 acre "Morven Hills Station" which carried 110,000 sheep, first settled by John McLean from Scotland in 1858. Later subdivided and purchased by James Goodger in 1912, who then further subdivided into three runs: Merivale, Geordie Hill and Shirlmar Stations which were farmed by the Goodger Family until 1979 and has since been sold to the present owners. Shirlmar Station is situated in the Lindis Pass, home of New Zealand's fine wool Merino's, 25 km to Tarras, 60 km to Omarama and Wanaka and a comfortable drive to Queenstown International Airport.
